      Bryan,

I had One Source Communications in my apt on the border of Keller. I'm not sure if this is an option for you, but I didn't have a single problem with them in over 2 years. I ended up just saying "screw it," and got the "Total Digital" package that cost me $130/month. There are less expensive options, of course. Everyone with that company was always exceptionally nice from the guy that did the install to the CSR that I spoke to when setting up and terminating my account. It's fiber optic and I got realistic speeds of 25dl and 2.5 ul.

I would prefer to NOT watch 2 year old re-runs of my History Channel, Discovery, Discovery Sci...etc shows

As well as all my my NFL games, NBA games and the occasional Rugby or Football game...just sayin

I have netflix also. Yeah i'll stream some football games on the internet, but it looks like crap.

Just dont understand the whole "just get netflix." I'm sorry, i wanna stay updated on tv. I dont watch a lot of tv, but i do have some shows i follow ( SOA, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, etc etc)

I really miss FTA. Do people even still mess with that?

            What is FTA?

And most of us that say go with streaming and OTA probably don't spend near the time in front of a TV. While I enjoy all those shows, it's just not worth wasting that much time in front of a screen.

Appreciate the suggestion, but I called them about 3 months ago and apparently they don't do "new" installs. They work with contractors who build new neighborhoods to get exclusive cable rights in that development.

The good news is A+ gave me his account number and I am charging my entire bill directly to him!!!

Actually, he and I now get $10/mo off due to "referring a friend". SO, as it sits right now my service for 130 or so channels, HD DVR and HD receiver is $35.99/mo. Thats pretty decent. I am having Charter 30mbps service at $39.99. So after taxes I am probably looking at $82/mo. Of course that goes bye bye after 10 months, but I will enjoy my delusion while I can.
