If it has trash in the paint, it needs to be fixed.
I made the mistake of recomending someone to a friend at a dealer bodyshop I was very familiar with. It turned into a bad deal, expecting the shop to make everything on this side of the car line up better than factory, expecting things to work differntly than they did from the factory. The estimator bought me a beer one night and politely ask me not to send people to him if they were going to act this way. I had to agree. The gaps he was complaining about were closer and straighter than the other side was, and the other 3 cars they had there were.
Sometimes people expect too much, but I dont think this is the case with the OP, because paint shouldnt have trash in it."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

BTW 3 peices of trash per panel is acceptable by industry standards. If you ever go to look at a new car or truck, their paint is worse than a repaired car. True Story.
OP, have you looked at the other side to compare?"If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

Awesome. Good to hear they're working with you.
Every shop has bad days, man.
I just had to swap out some equipment that I installed and took for granted that every aspect of it worked flawlessly. Frickin' electronics...
Everything got covered under warranty and the customer was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I apologized for his inconvenience of having to drive back and forth for my screw up and he shook my hand with a smile and said, "No worries. You handled everything for me and will continue to handle any questions I have from here on out."
Hopefully your outcome will continue on the path it sounds like it's on.
