being a young black male, i can say its safe to assume that, that may have been that ladies first "run-in" with the fuzz..
thats standard procedure when they pull me over
Im sorry, but thats kinda funny. On the other hand out of the 5 times ive been pulled over out of those 5 only one of the officers was white.
I've never had a problem, but people like my dad who are really assholes, but they dont see it themselves scream they are out to get me.
Yes my father has been arrested for mowing down his g/f flowerbed at 2 am on his riding mower drunk as hell. I am nothing like my father, he is a real winner, but fun to party with if thats your gig.
Wow. So I listened to it via the radio on the way home and sympathized with the old lady. (Was leaning towards doing it anyway.)
After watching the video, it sure seems she had it coming and earned her situation. Specifically, what you can't get without video is her demeanor right off the bat.

U defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.
She was a dumbass and he needlessly escalated the situation, which is pretty typical for small town cops. If his goal was to get on the TV news he did a wonderful job.
Oh and look, dumbass 03trublugt is in here giving him a pat on the back. Shocking.

What's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?

Voting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.
But could you imagine how bad this would look with only the dash cam and no audio?
That body cam added a LOT of perspective.
I realize this is a lot of money and some extra work but IMO every cop should have a body cam. That perspective would be invaluable in so many cases.
I imagine it would protect PD's from frivolous lawsuits from people like the granddaughter here. If there was no video I bet they sue, and probably win.
