      Required in my hs as well. I got on a science fiction kick a few years ago & read everything Ray Bradbury wrote. He was amazing.

        Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Animal Farm, and On the Beach are all classics that should be a must read for everyone.

          I read Fahrenheit 451 in 9th grade English I believe, but I can't tell you how many times I have read Where the Red Fern Grows it is one of my all time favorite books. My second grade teacher actually read it to us as a class. As far as high school reading goes Ender's Game would have to have been my favorite.

            Required reading in high school for me too but sadly I never read it I only own the cliff/spark notes book lol.
