haha, though fake as hell, I dig watching that show.

With the amount of times they have been shot at and then Bobby's truck was set on fire; you never see the cops being called or talked about. Getting the windows shot out while they are moving etc and the bullet holes in property sure looked real as hell. The fist fight in the yellow Ferrari episode was fake as hell though. The main characters "act" legitimately to stuff but the add in "characters" sure do not.

i have spent more than a few hours hanging out in pawn shops(not selling shit, my buddies worked in them and i would go to shoot the shit and laugh at the people walking in to sell shit) and they are closer to the real thing than say that abomination of a show where they offer you $5 for a $100 bill. we all know which one i am talking about. the detroit one was pretty funny the first season or hand full of shows cause i remember watching them like oh shit they really are showing how it is. now it is just like all the other shows where they set up skits and do a shitty job acting them out.

just saying they used to be more realistic but now they turned into the guys from occ with all the drama

My aunt runs a pawn shop in a ghetto area of Wichita falls... It's amazing the shit people do.

I was there picking up a plasma cutter they got in, and there was a older lady paying her monthly interest on a $50 loan... $22.. She had been doing that for the past 2-3 years. My aunt trys and explains to her how much money she is spending just paying interest and the stupid bitch just doesn't grasp it.

She was telling me how people will come and sell their cd/dvd to them for $0.50 then come back the next week and rebuy them for $3.

Customers are paying them a $10 a month fee to pawn their $50 lawnmower that hasn't sold in 5-6 years. There are 2-3 massive warehouses outback full of POS lawnmowers.
