ive been to ft worth many times and really enjoy it. i have heard of all these improvements about the dallas zoo otherwise i wouldnt have even considered it. x2 on fossil rim. i have been looking at it all day, it is 71 miles from me, opens at 830 and will cost approx. 60 bucks for me, the misses, and my two boys to go. this will sound bad but i am having a hard time trying to figure out how i can go to fossil rim (which is my first choice) and catch the cowboy game at 3. sorry i know thats bad

the Dallas Zoo has that. That was one of the big add ons. Pretty cool area of the zoo.

Dallas Zoo is great since they added the Africa part. I would go there over the Ft Worth Zoo now a days. They have a thing where kids can feed the giraffes.

I have no desire to see either again since seeing the SD zoo three times, it really is that awesome, and I'd go again in a heartbeat. Definitely a bucket list trip place if you ever get the opportunity.

Given that's not an option, go to whichever is closer' the kids will much rather be touring either zoo, than sitting in a car.
