If you're reaching out to strangers that you know are capable and willing to react that way, then why post up your personal business? If it's going to be a stranger, call up the hotlines that are available or something.

I remember the one in the job forum that people were really egging on and it really got to me. I'm all for defending myself and calling people out for what they are, but telling someone to hurt or injure themselves when they don't seem right in the head is just wrong.

If someone started giving your daughter shit cause you needed or decided to ask for help here , even knowing the shit people here are capable of, I know without a doubt that I would call out the ass hat. There is no need for it here and IMO it shouldn't be tolerated by the other members.

If you know the audience you're reaching out to tends to behave that way, why subject yourself to it instead of pm-ing one or two of the people that are known to have access to the information?
