That sounds about right, on my old 1.2 million house I paid about 2500.

When I moved from Dallas County to Ellis all my insurance went down. Bigger house, cheaper insurance, same cars and that dropped 40 dollars. I have State Farm for everything and they have always been good to me. Plus I have a fire plug in my front yard and that dropped it. Who would of thought? I think its just a tad over a thousand for my house. I have 175k coverage on 1880 sq foot with 50k in extra for houshold items. The auto went from 160.00 to 120.00 for three cars. I am pretty sure the pool cost me extra also or it would have been cheaper. I think even having a diving board makes a difference but I am not sure and I don't remember them asking. I do hate the 1 percent deductable they went to though.
