  • Rental Agreement

I'm trying to switch my drivers license from California to Texas and I have to prove my residency, one of the documents I need to bring is a rental agreement. Every website I have looked on wants around $20 and I don't want to have to pay the fee for a one time thing. Does anyone have an agreement they would be willing to Email me or point me in the right direction of a cheap one?

    Thanks in advance DFWM

I live with my brother and all the bills come in his name, I just give him money for them. The only bill that comes here in my name is a cell phone and I guess that doesn't matter.

What's funny is that the cops don't need proof that you live in Texas when they give you a ticket for failing to get a Texas license. They just take your word for it.

Looks like you already got it taken care of, but it should be pretty easy to find a standard lease / rental agreement online.

Haha that's the truth! I've been here for over a year and a half lol I thought I was going to move back to California but that's not happening for a while.

My lazy ass did a quick Google search and didn't find anything, I should have everything (fingers crossed) to get my TX DL.

Be glad you're moving the right direction.

TX to CA was a pain in the ass.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

FYI, any office store has a hard copy of a lease. Just fill in the blanks.

I'll probably find out how big of a PITA it is one of these days.
