I've got some beer, chilimac, and enough 12ga. to deter anyone from fucking with me for a few days. If you lived with 50 miles of a metropolis and can't get out the INSTANT shit goes down you're better off chilling for a few days.

Nope and you know why? It's because I'm not paranoid like a lot of people on here Say it really did happen we'd still have time to get the necessary supplies and shit before it really hit the fan. Everyone isn't going to turn into a zombie over night.

...and if you don't have the time to dedicate to a full length novel, there are still ideas in shortened form... Excellent read:

You can survive a nuclear blast.

All you need is some luck, and maybe a customized business suit coated in cockroaches. It could work. At least that's what Dean believed before the bombs actually dropped and his suit led him to murder a Very Important Man at the foot of a blackened obelisk.

Now D.C. is looking awfully empty.Life on Earth is pretty much coming to an end.All of which leaves Dean with a single question-"What now?" The answer to that question will take him on an uncanny voyage across a newly nuclear America where he must confront the problems associated with loneliness, radiation, love, and an ever-evolving cockroach suit with a mind of its own.

Dean's bizarre adventures mark the last chronicle of human existence, the final entries in our species' own...

                  EXTINCTION JOURNALS

                  From the Inside Flap
"Equally profound and hilarious, [Extinction Journals] contains not only some of the most thoughtful examinations of humanity's need for companionship to come along in several years, but also some of the best descriptions of loneliness and thanatophobia, the pervasive human fear of death."-- THE PEDESTAL

"Absurd, silly, yet ultimately important. There are overtones of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. There is a sense that Vonnegut could have written this. It mixes the sublime and the ridiculous superbly."-- I READ ODD BOOKS

33% of Americans have bugout or 72hr bags according to NatGeo.

I wonder what the percentage is in other countries.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Id have my private pilot fueling the plane while my limo driver picks up my kids, then myself and girlfriend and we'd head to our plane to fly to the middle of nowhere. There we'd be met by the escorts responsible for taking us to our seats/rooms on the "boat" that my wealth has secured to ensure we will survive.

All should go smooth according to plan but this year isn't over yet...

Ruger 10/22 takedown and 3 preloaded spare mags
                            Field cleaning kits for both

Im getting my trust set up so i can get an ar15 sbr and a ps90 sbr and suppressors for both. Once i have these, one of them will take the 10/22td's and 500. 22 rndsplace.
Most likely the ps90 due to how much more ammo i could carry.

Still not sure how some of you think you could escape the metroplex if the shit hits the fan.

If one accident can cause a 1-2 hour long slow down during rush hour, think of what 6.5 million people trying to flee the metro will do to the infrastructure.
