go into the retention dept that's the only way i get service there now even if its for technical support I call and say i've been on hold for 10 minutes want to cancel service and they take care of it.

Absolutely. Call in to cancel your account. They seem to be authorized to take care of customers.

They dicked me just yesterday. I wasnt receiving text messages. Went into a corp. store. Right after the guy did a factory reset on my phone, his co-worker said "Just remove and re-add texting on his plan". The latter worked, now I get to set my phone all back up.

As soon as texting starts working the employee says "Now your home button isnt working" (Galaxy 2 skyrocket). Awesome. He hands it back and says "sorry, I can offer you an early upgrade, but thats it"
So, I can now receive texts but the phone is broke? Luckily it magically started working again at about 9pm last night.

Those fucking dickwads at the store aren't authorized to do ANYTHING. Even the managers aren't authorized to do shit! I've had so many problems with AT&T over the last few months it's ridiculous, and I haven't even been an AT&T customer for the last two months! Once my contract was up and I went in to cancel my line, my last bill started showing all these fucking mysterious fees and what-not. Fuck AT&T.

I've been with Verizon for the last 10 years for my personal phone and AT&T for the phone my employer provides since Jan. I love Verizon but can't stand AT&T. I honestly can't believe people pay for service this shitty. It's fucking useless as a phone and data coverage isn't anything spectacular, either.

The dick back at the store tried to tell me that hspa+ is 4G just like their LTE. And that Verizon's LTE was actually only hspa+. I asked him if he was intentionally lying to me or just didn't know what he was talking about. Guess that answered which service I am keeping.

I have been with Sprint for 10 years and I've about had it with their shitty coverage. Over the past few months, I can't connect to shit, can't have a phone call longer than a minute without it dropping and I'm missing calls/texts.

I'm seeing that Verizon is apparently the way to go, so you guys know my next question...Does anyone have a hookup?

As much as I've pissed and moaned about AT&Greed level of customer service and shady bidness practices, they provide the best service available for me, thus I keep paying.

I couldn't care less what some yoyo at the store tried to tell me, I educate myself prior to making any phone purchases and typically buy then elsewhere for a decent chunk less than AT& Greed sells them for.

On a side Note, if you purchase elsewhere, the carrier still honors the one yr original warranty and will issue a replacement despite the fact that you didn't purchase it from them.


Also, Att is the only carrier atm that has a decent hspa service to fall back on when you're out of lte coverage.

Yep fuck them. I moved to a area that did not have coverage back in 2005. I would have gladly paid the early termination fee, but since they where such fuck sticks i told them to suck it.

Never did pay them a dime.

I have been very happy with verizon.

Not saying AT&T is perfect but i have never had any real problems. I had planned on getting uverse but when the tech guy got there he talked me out of it because of where my hluse is, it doesn't get great service so i appreciated the fact he did that.
