Glad you got your 'itch' back.

haha so true... Even If I had a toy/project I doubt Id have the time I wanted to put into it. Two kids in soccer practice twice a week, daughter has dance as well as soccer and games are saturdays. Not to mention a 3 month old. I get a small break the two kids are step kids so I get a week on/off but usually still go to games and practices.

I am on the search for a new project to work on, wife has been supportive with my hobbies since day one. She and the kiddos love going to shows and such with me. This project just going to take longer to build

But sometimes when you want something, you just want it bad enough to do whatever you have to. My '57 Chrysler is that way. I buy things when I see a good deal and I have the spare cash. I'm obviously not in any rush, I've owned it four years and haven't driven it an inch. And I already have a ton of money wrapped up in it, lol.

But that car is really special IMO. I just can't imagine having $70k wrapped up in something like a Subaru WRX or an SN95.
            Me neither.

My itch was quenched after the short shot to OK on the last leg of the Power Tour in June. Besides, I broke something anyways; I think the ECU is bad. I have not touched the car since mid June and may not tinker with it for another month.

Actually seeing the Factory Five thread revive the other day has me wanting to by a Cobra kit and swapping over everything that will. How would a Cobra kit weighing next to nothing be with a 650rwhp turbo motor?
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

The wife has her kids and I have mine. It's all about perspective though, I enjoy working on cars and if I had a new vehicle I wouldn't know what to do with my free time

I have several vehicles I rotate through and work on.. I get bored with them and they will sit a few years.

I haven't driven my viper in well over a year. I start my truck and do a burnout in the driveway once every 3-4 months. I haven't driven a mustang in well over 4-5 years.

With that said I bought an exhaust system and SFI bell housing this weekend for my gt-350. Might go ahead and put it back together. Massaged Trick flow top end with a Vortech blower. Should be a fun little beater.

I have been going thru cars and motos since I was 15 and got my first VW. My friends say I have a sickness and need help. My dad caused this. We have been building rods, bikes, and monster trucks since I was able to hold a wrench. You name it one of us have probably owned it up until a point(no exotics). Old cars for sure. I have owned probably over 50 cars and my dad I can not even remember. My biggest stopping point has always been cash. When I ran low on money I would always figure out a reason of why it was better for us for me to sell a car. While my wife was in school my money was limited and the reason I would sell one project to fund another. Now that she is out and started her new job it is going to be very hard not to have a pile of cars. I am going to try and limit my self to something fast and something big and maybe two more MC's now. I am not big on new cars for me. One new car in the family is all I need and that is for her. I like driving stuff that is different. I figure if I got seven modes of transportation laying around and only drive a short distance to work I am good. My Jeep, 7.3, and HD are some of the most reliable years you can own and they will be with me for a while. I am eyeing a freakin M715 on rocks in another state right now. I have wanted one with a 5.9 Diesel conversion for a while. <--This would cover the big.

I think I'm done for a while too, OP. I'm selling my mustang, and the Neon is going to get replaced with something simple and economical.

Haha.. I actually only did it just last week(since I moved in).

I got tired of him trying to think his stock 429 77 f-150 is bad ass.

He tried to show me up this past sunday after he saw my black marks. Pretty confident he spun a main bearing from the knock the engine now has
