I love turbos. They will be the only way to get MPG numbers, and HP, while keeping the government happy. Another 20 years and they will have electric cars that will beat up on your old 5.0 in mass production.
    Whos your Daddy?

Ed is a pretty knowledgeable guy with a lot of connections in Detroit. However, this would be surprising to me since Ford no longer owns Jag.

However Ford does still supply them with engines (built at their Bridgend Engine Plant), so maybe there is something to that. Perhaps they are using the platform for the last generation Jag XK.

Word is that it will take some styling influences from the EVOs concept but it will definitely look like a Mustang..

Ok so a turbo 4 svo, possible turbo v6? This concerns me in the fax that I hope they don't cut the v8 again... If they keep it, it better not be what Yale mentioned about a 5.0 gt500... That being ur only option for a v8 stang. Maybe a true GT350 with the 5.0 and the GT500 with the new 5.8... Granted, I shouldn't care so muh since I'll never be able to comfortably afford a new mustang; but dude.

You'd almost think you guys don't have the internet by the responses in this thread. This is all really old news, aside from the fact that Ford has absolutely confirmed it now.

The SRA has been dead from the year they released the '05 and it came out that they only saved ~$150 per car by going solid-rear. Whether you like it or not, it's gone for a variety of reasons.

The Evos is a design exercise to preview the future of Ford's design language, and while some of the ideas are going to be reflected on the new Mustang, it's not the Mustang. It has four fucking doors, for christ's sake.

IRS news is old. It's been said that the new 2015 mustang will have IRS, a real one guys.

Need to get use to it. If a corvette aka Z06, ZR1 or the slowmaros can run them so can he new Mustangs.

Not tripping on the rear suspension . Don't know if I like the look or the power train options.

I like IRSs, but the important note would be "real". How many times have you seem the starting line guy mopping up after a vette?

Too often, and they weren't even fast vettes, per se.

This is what I would expect to see if Aston Martin wanted an affordable (poor mans) option, but not a Mustang.
