    Scrap Yards

    Does anyone know one that will take an old AC unit?? I tried one off of northwest highway but the owner said he couldn't take it because I wasn't a business owner.

        strip it down and then go scrap it...
        Most places will not take it as a Unit unless you have a license or a letter from a company stating that you are the owner....otherwise you are screwed. But if you cut it up into random pieces then it is much easier to pass off as scrap
