  • Richland Hills Folks (Traffic Question)

I'm coming from the WFW area to around Baker Blvd. for my certifcations and I have access to 30 to 35 to 121 or 820 through NFW. The kicker is I have to be there by 5PM and by 4 the ramp on 35 is a disaster, but construction by 820/Beach is also going on. What route should I take? Thanks!

You can probably save some time if you exit Trinity from 820 and take a left, then take a right on Handley Ederville, then it dead ends at Baker.

pass the lovely Shell and Mc'ds and call it a day.. On a side note.. I never notice a sign in the area that says actually 820 N even though it's a nw direction your headed... It's always west... it seems as soon as it drops from 20. I could care less since I know where i'm going but could understand frustration.

Coming off 30W for me I have 820N or 820S....

So, I take it the construction off Beach St. by Roadhouse/Redneck Heaven isn't bad around then or just not compared to 35?

It's bad going west... but I thought the point of the route was to skirt to the other side using 30e to 820s before getting that far north to the other side of the loop

Ash, 35w south, to 30e, to 820n, to Trinity Blvd. Then left on Trinity and right on Handley-Ederville will be your best bet. I avoid the entire north loop between 35w and NE Mall in either direction at any time of day.

Agreed I live close to 820/Beach and use 377 down to Belknap then over to carson to 121 then go to 820 on the east side to go to arlington or dallas. traffic on the north loop is crazy sometimes and even worse now that the construction is going on.
You can hear me live on 81XRocks.com or Every Friday night at North Star Dragway.

Thank you, Scott! I'll owe you a beer next GTG I drag out to. I'm sure being out there for a couple of months that I'll learn backroads.
