So did anyone blow their diet? Anyone find any new foods they never had before? I fried a turkey, with some help from bcoop, and it came out amazing. I don't think I can ever go back to just throwing it in the oven.

Fried turkey is da shiznit. Damn right I blew my "diet", all rules are off this time of year, but I'll be busting my ass in the gym here soon enough.

Diet? During the holiday season? Sure, you jest. I put on at least 5 or 6 lbs.

The GF's family had some kind of homemade crumb cake, holy shit it was good. Also discovered vanilla vodka and coke is delicious!

I did, but not horribly looking back on it. It did suck though when I was cooking my egg whites this morning just imagining it was more fried turkey. I also have a giant plate of leftover brownies. Not sure what will become of those.

My mother in law also left some sweets. She made some peanut butter cookie type treats. It was peanut butter between two ritz crackers and then dipped in chocolate.

I think I gained at least a pound eating that.

I ate the same portions as always.
I grilled a rack of lamb that I coated with a rosemary and herb rub that I made and grilled some filets for the non lamb eaters in the family.
Sauteed some Brussel sprouts with bacon, onion butter and sprinkled some parm cheese on them.

Stayed on my diet, but I did eat a piece of pecan pie.

I ate a little bit more like shit over the holiday, HOWEVER, the big difference was that I did NOT refrain from exercising/working out. That has been a huge accomplishment for me. I actually reached a pretty big milestone in my cycling world that I am super stoked about!!

I've been eating like a starved horse since Thanksgiving. I usually am pretty good at work, but there are a bunch of old women on my floor, and there has been so many different home made sweets and snacks it's made it tough. I'll pass on the wedding cake samples and the queso dip, but then there's still cheesecake sitting around... and all of our carrier reps have been bringing us lunch for the last few weeks. I really need to get back on track with the diet and the gym...

I ate like shit. The Christmas weekend started on Thursday with one BIL taking us out for Mexican followed Friday by brazilian steakhouse for lunch, large dinner, huge breakfast on Christmas, traditional lunch/early dinner, big dinner and repeat for Sunday. I would say in 4 days I had 25000+ calories.

I'm starting the year off with a cleanse and rapist intense workouts.
