Tow truck guys in here...

Pro tow did a repo style tow on one of my cars one time at an apartment complex. The driver was a moron and my car was stickered properly and should not have been towed.

Out of habit I always parked next to the canopy support beams and turn my steering wheel all the way opposite the pole.

As you can guess they ripped the front fender off, the car was on its right side on the pole and it fell off the tow truck. My neighbor got all this on video....

When I drove out there to see the car that night around 10pm they said I had to sign for the car before I could see it, I told them no way and I would call the police if they didnt let me see the car. They towed it out front completely destroyed and it wouldnt start. They crushed the wiring harness that runs thru the fender area.

They bought me that car...

When I do an impound I put everything on it. There better not be a god damn thing missing from a car I impound or I will get a hold of a wrecker driver with a quickness. I list amplifiers, cell phones, speaker boxes and types. When they pick up a car we impound it is all on the sheet they use to get it out. If there is a dollar in the center console that shit gets put on there. I hate thieves with a passion, wrecker driver or not. Wrecker drivers make as much money as I do some years so they should have no reason to be cherry picking the cars. Plus the yard we use has a nice camera system.

Now all that being said, when the cars go to auction after thirty days, theres no doubt in my mind that the night or morning of the auction, shit goes missing. Just like the storage war show. I use to know a guy that ran one of those places and the night before a big auction he use to tell me how they tossed them and got the good stuff. Still theft in my opinion but these guys figure no victim no crime.
