Mike,
The one in Oklahoma ? It's in Wapanucka right in town off the side of the road on hwy 48. It's a little Podunk town in the middle of nowhere. It's pretty much straight west of Atoka.
This is the address from the pin I dropped on google maps. I actually found the car on google maps street view before I ever went and looked at the car in person. You can just barely see it, because the street view doesn't zoom very clearly.

I'm not sure I can drive down this weekend, but I can run to the tag agency at lunch and get the information on the last registered owner for you. Let me know

Aren't you in OKC ? I wouldn't ask you to drive all the way out there for a car that may sit there for another 20 years.
If you could hit the tag agency up there and find anything out I would greatly appreciate it and owe you a beer or something.

Yes I'm in OKC. I just called the tag agency and they can release the info to me in person today. I'll run over there when I get a couple of free minutes and get it.
Mike came through and hooked it up. BUT, it was a little bittersweet.
Just got off the phone after talking to her for 20 minutes. She still won't come off of it....yet.
Super sweet older lady (73 years old) but I think she was more worried about selling the car to a stranger than to one of her family members and them being pissed off. I mentioned the sentimental value of it being her mom's and she told me it wasn't so much that as it was all these other people wanting it that are "in line" ahead of me.
I'm going to continue to call her on a regular basis, maybe once a month/every other month.
She also told me the car has been sitting there since 1992 when her mom passed away. She registered it every year until '05, which is what's on the license plate. She also told me that she owns the 4 lots that are right there in town where the car is sitting and something like 500 acres, so I have a feeling the money isn't so much the issue. I probably could have given her some sob story and offered her $10k and she still wouldn't have taken it.
Oh well, that's how it goes. I sure do appreciate you getting that info for me though, Mike. Next time we're in OKC I'll hit you up and buy you a beer.
