Ok, so I made a comment in my thread about my wagon about the PERFECT parts car that I found.

This car would save me TONS of time on having to do metal, body and paint work. ALL of the trim is in excellent shape, and just so happens to be the same from the 4 door Impala to the Nomad wagon. The front fenders, hood, doors, etc are all in GREAT shape. It's a factory V8, Powerglide, A/C car.

It has a license plate on it and the last time it was registered was 2005. The story I got was the owner lives in Arizona and it used to be her mom's car, so she won't sell it. If I could get any information from the license plate, and could contact her, I might could make her a good enough offer to get her to cut loose of it. Otherwise, it's going to rot there from now on.

Only want to get info off of an OK tag is to know someone that has access to the tag offices, or send in the form to the state and request the info.

It's actually not far off the main highway that goes through town so it would be VERY noticeable.

Unfortunately, the lady's aunt lives right across the road from where the car is and the car is in such a small town that while we were sitting on the side of the road, an older man pulled up and asked us if we needed help. I asked him if he knew if the car was for sale, and before I even got it out of my mouth he smiled and starte shaking his head and told me that she lives in Arizona and it belonged to her mom.

Yeah. I noticed the date on the ad and went, "ah shit, it's probably already gone." I called the number on there and left a message so we'll see if he calls back. That car is 2 hours from me in east Texas. Lol !
