Lately, I've been thinking a lot about retirement, being at the ripe old age of 25 and all.
Basically you cut out all un-needed expenses, Hole 60-70% of your income away and invest it wisely, and in 5-10 years you can retire early, assuming your budget is 2-3% of your invested assets. Keep doing it longer if you wish for a more expensive lifestyle.
I'm currently in the process of getting my house ready to sell in April, (earliest I can sell and not pay back the 1st time homebuyer credit) and move back into a small 1br apt or rent a room (preferably) so I can cut my expenses down and get moving on this. In the meantime, I am cutting my cable, shopping for the cheapest bills, etc. to cut down.
Does anyone else feel the same about retirement? What are some of y'alls plans? Maybe I can glean some good practices from y'all.
