My son wants an airsoft rifle to shoot in the backyard, anyone know of any airsoft brick / mortar stores in the dallas area? I know I can find the guns all day long online but hard to tell from pictures if something is total crap or not.

There is a store in grapevine mills mall that sells a lot of that stuff, I think there is one in The Parks mall too. Does he want a particular style? A spring operated one or an electronic one?

Academy... But like anything, you get what you pay for. Don't go in there looking for the cheapest one, because, having worked at Academy, they are usually brought back the next day broken. Spend a little more and get a better quality one."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

He wants something like those $70 spring powered bolt action sniper rifles or m14 copy. Something to snipe grass hoppers with from 25-30 feet. We're planning on painting it so there's no mistaking it for a firearm lots of blaze orange. Lol.Jon
