Ive never had any problems with Mobil 1 in my over 1 million miles put on cars that i've owned. Shit, my Navigator went almost 250k, the tranny took a shit, but Ford replaced it. The motor was still going last I heard at over 350K.

Absolutely not. Change your oil when it is due and you will be fine.

I've used Mobil1 in about 9 new vehicles since 1992. I've never had an oil related issue to date.

When my 1995 Civic had 100K + on it, I broke a spark plug off in the cylinder head. The mechanic asked me what kind of oil I used and I told him Mobil1 5W30. He said the head and valve train looked like it had 20k miles on it.

The only thing I haven't used Mobil1 in is 2 Powerstrokes and then I used Shell RotellaT.

That test is a b.s. test. You can changed the metal alloys for their "simulated engine test" and make any oil look great. How long does it take for the detergents in the oil to break down, how quickly does the oil absorb moisture, what percentage of anti-friction modifiers are in the oil, etc...?
Get the oil with the right api rating for your engine. the biggest difference is going to be what oil filter you use, how often you change the filter, and driver habits. You can add some moly lube to any engine oil and it'll pass that stupid slick 50 test all day long. But just adding a bunch of moly to engine oil isnt what makes it better for your engine.

my350z has a huge database of owners sending in their oil for analysis , Mobil 1 did just fine

Motul on the other hand did poorly

I have never believed in synthetic oil since I drove a car for 200K miles which ran fine and never burned oil. Only thing done was to change it religiously every 3000 miles.
