They believe that America is being punished for allowing homosexuality to become commonplace. This punishment is the death of our men and women overseas. They claim to be religious, I find them to be nothing more than ignorant bigots that twist the bible into something dark and selfish.

Some of us on this board have had very close encounters with the Westboro group and this is not only a painful topic but a very important one as well. In my own defense I have learned to tune out hate and bigotry in my 30 years. With that being said I really only know of these westboro people through this site.. I don't even have 2 seconds to spare to view their website. I wish we all as a human race could learn to live and let live, and take care of ourselves individually before worrying about what our neighbors are doing.

I would really like to see them lose their status as a "church". Are there even any members that aren't, in some way, related to the shitheads in charge? They should have no right to tax exemption as a "church". They are, in fact, a hate group.
