Hi, also a DFWian, but too far away to go to picket myself. Maybe someone who might go can carry this idea out for me.. Also after seeing the Vice documentary a couple weeks ago, I realized Phelps is guilty of a great sin himself, and has no right to keep acting with such outward hate. Don't forget "Hate sin, but love the sinner."
SO FOR ALL THAT ARE AFFECTED BY WESTBORO'S HATE, SOMEONE PLEASE PROTEST WITH A SIGN THAT SAYS, "GOD HATES FALSE WITNESSES".
Thanks, and God bless.
"In an appeal, Phelps prepared affidavits swearing to the court that he had eight witnesses whose testimony would convince the court to rule in his favor. Brady, in turn, obtained sworn, signed affidavits from the eight people in question, all of whom said that Phelps had never contacted them and that they had no reason to testify against Brady. Phelps had committed perjury.[19]
On July 20, 1979, Phelps was permanently disbarred from practicing law in the state of Kansas,[19] though he continued to practice in Federal courts.
In 1985, nine Federal judges filed a disciplinary complaint against Phelps and five of his children, alleging false accusations against the judges. In 1989, the complaint was settled; Phelps agreed to stop practicing law in Federal court permanently, and two of his children were suspended for periods of six months and one year.[20]"

I am going to tell you from experience, that is NOT what most families want. I know I didn't want to have a protest war outside of my brothers funeral, I strongly doubt that these people want that.
My best advice is to ignore them, one day someone like myself who has lost someone in combat will lose it and take care of the problem once and for all.
They showed up at my brothers ..... for that reason alone I think it best I not go to "help form the wall"
Might draw up some old emotions and put me in a spot I don't need to be in. I never saw them at Mike's funeral thank god. I don't know if I could have controlled myself then and I don't think I could now.
If anyone here knows just how much you can hate these people, I can promase you it is me.
