            Both procedures are carpal releases. You're crazy if you didn't go with the endoscopic procedure.
            Elbow pain isn't part of CTS. You may need a cubital tunnel release as well if your pain is near your "funny bone."
            This is caused by resting your arm on the armrest or window when driving.

              Mine was endo. Two holes below the palm.

                One in middle of palm and one just proximal to the wrist. There has to be an incision on either side of the carpal transverse ligament in order to effectively decompress the median nerve by cutting this ligament.

                        Not much... Brown goes thru the palm for the scope part and claims no stitches. Mine scoped from the wrist. My bandages are just to protect the site from impact, they all come off Tuesday. My recovery times are identical to Brown Proceedure, I just have 3 stitches at the site to remove.
