As our friends and family know, Christian (The Head) and I (Kimmypie) have been trying to have a baby/family for about 5 years. After we miscarried the first baby, we had to begin fertility treatments. Our first full in vitro treatment didn't take. Then my amazing neice donated her eggs for the next in vitro which again didn't take. We have 2 frozen embryos from her donation that we are trying to get the money together to be able to afford the last in vitro transfer. Hopefully, this one will take! If it doesn't take, we will begin the adoption process. We have spent over $40,000 in the last few years on the in vitro treatments which are not covered by insurance (nor will the new healthcare laws help as they restrict the use of our pre-tax HSA for fertility treatments). Eventhough asking for help hurts our pride, our friends have talked us in to doing some fundraising to help with the medical bills because we are completely tapped out. Our hope for this thread is that we can get our friends and family to help us. Our first fndraiser will be to have a giant garage sale with items donated from friends & family. If you can donate, we will pick up items around the metroplex, or you can drop them off. We want to have the sale on 9/28-29/2012. All help is appreciated! Where: 2521 Castle St.
Irving, Tx 75038
Time: 7am both mornings until traffic dies down
It's going to be a HUGE sale so come on out or spread the word!
