We used WordPress because its the best open source CMS for small businesses. That being said, Drupal is the best CMS :P
Russell, I've been SWAMPED with work lately. I've got some time right nao though. Lemme see what you have going on.
Also, I'll get you the number for a cheap intern who will finish it up on the cheap.

Once the site is sorted out, I plan to register a new Domain (something MUCH easier to remember), and move everything to a new hosting service. Does anyone have any recommendations for hosting? I am currently using yahoo small business, paying about $14/month right now. Would like something a little less expensive and easier to use.Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.

A few of my clients run their service on their platform with ease.
Multi function CP with decent help sections and wizards for setting up certain points of the needed functions (ftp, mysql ect..)

Host Monster has been growing rapidly. However, I still recommend:
Small - HostGator
Medium - MediaTemple
Large - RackSpace, Softlayer... and a million other great choices.
HostGator bought up a ton of old servers from The Planet, and most of their servers are in The Planets old facility across 35 from AAC. I believe softlayer now owns that data center?

I figured I would revive this instead of starting a new thread since it is still relevant to this topic.
Hoping to manage to get my website finished up before business starts picking up for holiday sweets and treats. With that, I need to update my web address. I didn't think about it when I set it up but, www.russellsconfectionperfection.com is cumbersome and hard to remember, let alone hard for a lot of people to spell.
I have came up with a few ideas, with the help of my girlfriend, and most of them are taken in the .com form. I am looking for short, catchy, and easy to remember.
cakedude.com was her pick, which is fun, easy to remember and relevant. The problem is cakedude.com is taken, however, cakedude.net isn't. Input, suggestions?Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.
