Thanks for the input everyone. I got an email from him last night. I have full rights to the design. Hopefully it is up and going by Thanksgiving!

Well, I guess I can finally put this thread to rest. With increasing obligations at work, and decreasing amounts of free time, I have officially stoped doing cakes and sweets. As time went on with the new job, each cake I commited to, became more of a burden. With that there has been a decline in finished product, and the cancellation of orders. In December I had to cancel about $1000 in cake and cake bite orders. It has been fun to make a little money doing something I enjoy doing, it seemed every time I needed some extra money, a cake would come along and help out. When I was in retail and had a lot of extra time, it wasn't a big deal. Now that I work longer hours, it turned into a pain.

I would like to thank each and every person here who helped along the way with comments and criticisms. Those of you who trusted your special occasions to my abilities, and the rest who satisfied a sweet tooth with cake bites and S'mores sticks.

I still have a dream of opening a bakery, and some day that may happen, however for now, I am going to take a step back. I have been selling supplies on ebay and will continue to build an inventory of product and distribute it to the cake community.
