That shit happens all of the time. I've seen dashes completely wrecked when the radio just popped out with two little clips. Nobody accuses smash and grab thieves of being smart.

You on Royal or the big campus between Beltline and Freeport? Totally sucks. There have always been a ton of car burglaries in the 635 area of Las Colinas. My car was hit twice and my ex's once when I lived in the area. Hers was hit behind the Sports Clips on MacArthur between 10:00am and 2:00pm on a Saturday! Same as yours, smash and grab.

In hers all they got was a $90 CD player but caused like $1,500 in damage.
