I also kept getting bugged by Ford to perform this recall on my 2002 Explorer Sport. They were sending me letters about every 6 months or so.

... and now you have a real-life example of why they are persistent!

Get it fixed man...not worth putting it off. I almost lost my home/family and my other cars. I was lucky the truck had a lift on it and did not fit in my garage.

I got some concrete cleaner from orielys. Dunno how it would do on burnt concrete but I just poured it on the garage floor and driveway after pulled a motor from a truck. Let it sit for a few hours then pressure washed and it came pretty damn clean, it took rust marks and diesel oil drip stains from previous renters out.

LOL, I was hoping it would burn because I didn't want to hassle with selling it. It stayed parked on the street.

I did eventually fix it before I put it up for sale so the new owners wouldn't have to worry about it.

Damn dude, you have some of the worse luck. Did someone put a brujedia on your ass?

You can buy that muratic acid at home depot, I'd pour that shit on there and power wash it, don't forget to wear a 3-M mask they sell those too.

I know bro I feel like someone has it out for me sometimes....sucked for sure...only positive thing is that I'm going to get some good money for the truck but it took me a while to find that truck in the condition it was in.

I will stop and get some of that tonight.
