I'm pretty certain every male hates the phone with my brother being an exception. I will send him a text over something simple and within 2 minutes the phone is ringing and an hour or so conversation ensues.

That is one thing I hate. If I text you, don't call me back, just text. If I texted it was because I did not need to get involved in a long conversation. I just needed to exchange some important information in a concise and efficient manner.

I like to sit around and BS when I'm hanging out in person. I loath "chit chat" over the phone.. Even in text, I don't like BSing. Text is for exchanging info, coordinating things, etc.

Work: 10am to 3:30pm their time except Fridays the latest I call is 2:30 because I'm not going to be that asshole to drop work on someone on a Friday.

Friends: don't call them just text and not before 11 or after 7.

A really good friend is all hours, I've picked up and been picked up at odd hours. Hell, a long time board member, his wife, and newborn saved me some drunk tank time one night after Pappas (yes that long ago), and my cousin got me from there.

"Just to chat" calls need to be after 10am, unless there are lake plans.

Yeah, don't get me wrong.. A friend that really needs something, 24 hours is fine. I'm just talking about non-urgent nor important communication.

I have developers calling me anywhere from midnight to 6am, and doctors calling me from 7am to 11pm. I don't comprehend "proper call times" anymore.

People still talk on the phone?? From 9am-10pm during the week I'm on my cell phone for work only. Friends and family I mostly text. On the weekends usually until midnight. When I text my buddies and they call back I don't answer. There's a reason I texted you, if I wanted to chit chat I'd have called first.

My favorite work contacts are the ones that text.

For friends that I know, I generally dont call after the time they ask me not to. For randoms on craigslist, if you don't put a time, I will call you up to 11PM.

when i was freelance and consulting...calls came in all the time as late as 2am and early as 4am.

Now...its just text or skype calling no later than 10pm. I have been known to call late for taco and torta runs!

which El Paisa sounds good right now!!!

Since I live the life of a vampire and sleep during the day, most of my friends leave me alone during certain hours....however if my phone blows up and wakes me up over nonsense, I return the favor at 3am.

No solid barg, I deal in 100's of 1000's at a time, usually multi-million dollar renewals, just texting is not an option.
