I assume if you eat that low amount of calories you're going to lose something shot or not. I've haven't done it personally, because I've had success with other things. The diet does work if you hold onto eating better and let your body reset it's metabolism.
I weighed 238 when I went on the diet. I float around 205 - 210 depending on how hard I work during the week. So, at my lowest, I lost 33 pounds. This was 2 years ago.
