    Consulting Work

    Was contacted by a law firm about doing some work for them. Sitting at my desk surfing the web and getting paid about 3.5x my normal pay to talk on the phone about finance = chooooooooooooooooooooo$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ chooooo$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$


    This project will be about 20 hours of work - they said if it goes well could be a recurring gig. This must be what it's like to work for the railroad.

          So when I first started interning at one company wewere discussing consultants with the Sr engineers...they said consultants always made big money but had more cents than sense.

          It was at this moment I knew why my life goal was.

            Not a bad gig at all!! I know a few free-lance style consultants that also hold full time job. Stated they make almost as much at their consulting as they do full time 10-15hrs a week...

            And can someone point to the original choooooo$$$$$$$ choooooooo$$$$$ thread?

                  Other job - with the other bank here in SF? I interviewed last Monday, still haven't heard anything. They have offices in Dallas and are all for working remotely, so I really hope something happens. If they won't let me work from Dallas, I'd at least use the offer as leverage to get a guaranteed bonus from my current gig. Still crossing my fingers.

                    Cool... good luck! Dallas is where it's at!!!

                    I just gave my notice at work and will be starting a new role soon. It feels good to see myself jumping up into a better position and a decent raise.
