I took the car to the local SCCA autocross this last weekend. It really impressed a lot of people. The instructor who rode along was really shocked at how well it handled. Not at all what he was expecting when getting into a 40 year old car. I made 4 runs with a 51 being my best with the instructor. He was shocked that I was able to pull that one off with my first couple of runs. He didnt see my 48 I pulled off prior to him getting in the car. (he was a distraction) After that, I was black flagged due to a leaking power steering rack. So now it looks like Im finally going to have to pull it and send it in to Gateway Performance for their RRS corrective treatment. Im hoping to get it back together in time to do the PCA Maverick Region Time-Trial/Autocross event in December.
