I'm a strict parent and I have no patience for little snot nosed brats. If she didn't implement discipline from the get-go she is getting to a point of no return in the next couple of years. There is NO reason for the behavior what-so-ever besides point-blank your chick is too damn lazy or worried about getting a man to do her job. I don't mean to be a bitch, but it's the best way I could put it.

No, you can't be the one to discipline the kid at 4 months in. Heck, at 4 months in I'm surprised she introduced the 2 of you. She is looking for something other than your stamina, good looks and athletic capabilities. There are plenty of chicks out there without kids or have their head on straight enough to parent decent little human beings.
