I have a stinger led , stinger xp led , pro tac 2aa , 3 stylus pro's, 2 knuckleheads and various other lights . I'm really stuck on the reliability and good pricing from streamlight . The only one I want and don't have is the pro tac that runs on 2 123 cells . It's as bright as a stinger led but 1/4 the size . I just hate buying those cells .

Originally posted by Blackpony View PostFor size, brightness, and overall realiability, the streamlight is leaps and bounds better then a mag light. I have a mag light hanging on the side of my cart at the shop, btw.. My small streamlight is about 1/8 the size of my led mag light, and is literally twice as bright.Originally posted by Reefer Rae View PostHacked and modded mag lights are something I am scared of , I would love to see your light . It gets hot quick even for a LED. I had the tube shortened to a 1D size and the slots on either side of the button are filled with Tritium tubes. It is more of a "wow" that's cool light and run time is short. less than 20 minutes is left on. The 1000 lumen mags I use as my daily use are 2D mags and have 3 modes that are selected by bumping the switch. Like I said earlier the high setting that puts out 1000 lumen will run for over 4 continuous hours and the low will run for over 2 days straight and still puts out plenty of light to see wtf you are doing.
