I've always bought Nike, but my latest pair have been the Reeboks. For everyday wearing I'd go for them.

I wouldnt buy minimalist shoes for regular all day wear. Def wouldn't buy a minimalist shoe if you say you're hard on shoes.
They're not meant for everyday regular use and wear and I can't quite understand why so many people buy them just for that lol. Get some regular athletic-casual shoes for that. They'll last longer and be more comfortable.

Nike has generally been more durable for me over Adidas and Reebok

I only wear mine for working out, but Nike has been much nicer on my feet than Reebok.

I have always bought Nike, but I thought I would try something new so I bought a pair of all black realflex 6 months ago and as soon as I put them I knew I wouldn't buy another type of shoe. Right out of the box they were comfortable (all new shoes seem to suck for the first couple of weeks, not these), I wear them everyday and apart from standing too close to a friend of mine while welding, they have held up just fine.

And they cost a lot less than the Nike Shox I typically buy.

I consider minimalist shoes to be skele-toes or something like that. Looks like he's talking about running shoes. I always wear running shoes. If they can take the wear and tear from running, why not wear them for everyday?

Have you ever tried the Adidas ClimaCool shoes? I've had 2 pairs and love them. Both of them have held up very well. Nikes don't fit my foot right, so I've always been an Adidas wearer.

i have better luck with these shoes than regular shoes. i am thinking because they form to my foot better with less slop

These are almost like the ones I got about 8 months ago - http://www.adidas.com/us/product/men...=STATIC_SEARCH

These are the same model as the ones I bought a year or so ago, but mine are different colors - http://www.zappos.com/adidas-running...ue-electricity. This model shoe weights next to nothing, but it still really comfortable.

Adidas has several different types of their ClimaCool shoes. Like I said, I love them.

yeah, the Nike Free Run shoes are the most minimal running shoes Nike makes. Supposed to be close to a barefoot ride. And the free run shoes are known to not last very long because of the material they're made with. Something like the Lunarglide or Lunarfly would better for daily use.

I wear Nike Free 3.0s almost daily. Comfy and actually DO last a long time. I've had my pair for about 2.5 years. I just throw them in the washer and dryer when dirty and they're like a brand new shoe again.
