  • Any positive/negative feedback for Sprint?

I've been looking at my AT&T bill and I'm paying around $210/month for an iPhone 4 w/ 2GB data plan, 2 iPhone 3Gs phones with 250MB data plan and one stupid phone with voice and text only.

I was looking at carriers and Sprint has unlimited data(I know, throttled after 5GB), 1500 minutes voice, unlimited text, etc. for $209/month plus taxes for 4 smartphone lines.

I've been with AT&T for almost a decade, but I'm not going to overpay for less service any more.

I have had Sprint since 02. I absolutely love it. It doesn't always work out here but unlimited text and data for the price? Can't beat it. Have you checked the discounts for police as well?

Right now their 3g sucks ass. Like fucking everywhere I go I hope to have wifi or else I'm not really getting data.

Their Wimax 4g is spottier than a 14yo's panties. Who the hell knows how their LTE will be. Likely done as cheaply and shittily as possible.

That said, it's $50 cheaper than a comparable VZW or AT&T plan, so I stick with them (and have for closing on 15 years).

my wife and I had spring for 9 years, we switched to at&t

I got fed up with the shitty service and paid the early contract ending fees and got ATT, we bought a month to month plan, easy talk I think it is , and bought phones at Walmart. On sprint I was in roaming in my house and had no bars. going down hwy 67 every mile the calls would drop. no service at all in Tunica Mississipi at the casinos. no service at san saba or about any place in between my house and there. It was horrible to pay what we were paying and getting no service about every where we went.
It got to be a joke between my wife and I , the service people would say "I'm so so sorry" and do nothing but say that!
we both had new phones with the newest updates, sprint sucks! If you want phones, let me know, I'll sell them mine ( sprint) that are 4 months old cheap.
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

I just left Sprint for Verizon this weekend, lately I've had very spotty coverage, and my house in Carrollton sits in a dead zone, as well as when I'm at my office in Plano. Verizon works in both locations, and since I spend the majority of my time in those two places, I went with them. ATT also works there, but Verizon's LTE is faster, and ATT pissed me off a few years ago.

Not many complaints here. Coverage areas are what they are, each carrier has their issues with service one way or another. For the most part I'm satisfied with what I'm paying for. Of course this is also coming from someone who is not using every app, text, chat, internet, voice call, etc all at the same time like some of the techies these days, so take it for what it's worth.

I went from ATT to T-Mobile about 6 months ago and After T-Mobile pissed me the fuck off when I couldnt dial 911 until I rebooted my phone and then went to weatherford and both me and my wifes phone would not register on a network even though they had full signal. I went the store and was told well we can fix if you buy all new phones. I told the girl if I buy new phones it will be with Verizon. So within 2 hrs of walking out the door of T-mobile had 3 Iphone 4's and 1 HTC ryhme on there way, 2 days later all lines ported over. 40.00 for each phone and 50 for a shared data plan. And they work everywhere so far.

I went from ATT to Sprint to T-Mobile. Sprint's coverage was shitty (almost no reception at the office or at home), and their 4G (when I could get it) was slower than ATT's 3G. T-Mobile is a big step up from Sprint but I regret leaving ATT.

That speaks volumes. Should you decide to go back to ATT, I believe the iPhail2G unlimited loophole is still present.

I don't regret it enough to pay the early termination fee, but I'm probably going back when my contract is up in 20 or so months.
