He must have been arrested for an offense involving assaulting a family member.

A protective order was granted to the victim and he must have violated the terms of that order.

I heard that he pulled a gun on his x when he found her screwing around, and now somehow violated the order. The story we are getting is that he went to a friends house and she happened to be there. I would think that if he didnt speak a word to her and quickly dismissed himself from the property, that there would be no violation. Would this be correct?

Sorry. I am gaining parts and peices of info as the day goes. Didnt know the origonal reason they granted the order till about 10 minutes ago.

Depends on what the protective order states. Some limit to just places of residence and business, others are more involved.
