Did you mix it in with the Vodka before mixing it in with the bloody Mary mix? It tends to have a different flavor this was as opposed to just squirting it in and stirring. Also, they were made with Absolute Peppar vodka.

The mixing beforehand is crucial.

Just pouring it in a bloody mary won't work as it tends to stay separated.
