      Looks like fun Eric!

I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for those silver inserts. Just looks cool.

We've got Sportlines on our Mach as well, it looks amazing and rides really well. I can't remember what springs I have on the Cobra at the moment.

His concern with lowering, especially as much as sportlines do, is that it will affect his back too much. And I will say that on my GT I got pretty beat up with them.

still looks slow, but looks one sousand times better without the black stain on the hood in front of the "scoop"

pull the spring isolaters and rotate the rear springs... good way to lose an inch or more with the same spring rate

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that either. Same with people who make the side or hood scoops black.. Looks out of place. I do like the black decals on the mach 1 hood, though I don't like the black wing.

I said that already. But I would do it on the fronts. The back already looks to sit a bit lower.

Chin spoiler might help the front look a bit lower.

Understood. I drive the Mach pretty regularly and I'm exhausted after training. The ride is stiff, but not bearable and thats on 18's with low profile tires. I guess everyone has their different tolerance levels though. I think after driving so many foxbodies, a lowered 99 will still ride like a Caddy in comparison for him. JMO.

                          Sportlines with 18's:

Yeah, I'm glad the previous owner had already removed it. Looks cleaner.

I think it is just the angle or the uneven surface. I'll have to look closer at it later.

Thanks for the compliments. Was a lot of fun between San Antonio and Port Aransas once the rain cleared up yesterday.

i know on my 00GT i had sportlines in the front and steeda springs on the rear and i didnt notice any difference in the harshness of the suspension.
