5 friends from my younger days got Psych degrees, and never used them. And they all partied way too hard in college.

Don't mind me, I didn't bother with any college. But in my field, my track record will get me further than a degree would.

He was EE at UTA, right? Don't be surprised if he didn't. I witnessed astoundingly stupid EE students somehow bumble their way into graduation ceremonies.

You don't use them. There's nothing you can really do with a masters in psychology but chase after a PhD. I took it because I wanted to figure out what the VA was saying about me

By figuring out Hazlewood I mean going down to the campus and making them look up my DD214 and filling out paperwork. May do it this spring but, not really feeling it.

I got my masters when I joined this site, along with my 12" cock, supermodel wife and the rest of the perks. Didn't all you?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

My problem with writing papers is you dont really learn anything useful. I really feel like most of college is about seeing how much crap you can put up with. I did learn some things along the way but not years worth of information that will help me in my future.

Writing a 25 page paper on a single research topic will not help me in any way in my line of work. The masters program Im hoping to get into has 9 graduate level hours of junk that wont help me. I need more advanced assessment, pathophysiology and pharmacology, not research, theory and research and theory applications. I would do University of Pennsylvania's program that cuts all that crap out if it wasnt $15,000 more

When I was in, I was severely disenchanted by the curricula precisely because of all the extraneous bullshit. If I could go back, I'd probably pay $15k more to get the education I wanted, and not one that got me out the door with the degree I wanted.

I've never understood the taking of extra BS. I want a degree in X, why the hell are you making me take these other classes? I don't want algebra, I don't want geology. I want a degree in fucking criminal justice. Oh, you want more money? Well hell, let me sign 20 years worth of loans for you

OP, congrats on the degree. If you got the right one, it will help. Our class had 100% placement before graduation, and had that for about 9 years before I graduated. I was in the right place at the right time.

And to answer someone's question about a master's, currently it would not help me a bit. It could later, but it's no where near a guarantee, and therefore not worth the time or money to me.

                              Good luck.
