  • That's it Im burning my house and yard down.

In the last 3 weeks Iv been bitten by a spider, stung by a yellow jacket, bitten by ants, and stung by a red wasp. Other than a flamethrower is there anything I can do to drive these things away like a yard repellent?
Anyone had an abnormally high amount of wasps/hornets around their place this year?

Wasps dont care about off. That stuff will keep the flies and mosquitoes away but Iv never had any luck with it keeping hornets/wasps/bees away. I was wondering if there was something I could spray in my yard or something.

Call a plant nursery or home and garden store, they could tell you pretty quick. Unfortunately I don't think there's anything that will keep bees and wasps away. If they want to nest on/in your house, they're gonna.

I saw a few buzzing around the back yard so I got some Triacazide liquid bug killer, poured it into the Ortho sprayer and attached the garden hose and sprayed the shit outa the yard. I set the dial on about +%25 of the recommended dose, just to kill everything! Haven't seen them since.

                Lmao. I'm guessing:

                1. Red wasp
                2. Yellow jacket
                3. Ant
                4. Spider

They have yellow jacket traps at lowes, it will probably catch those red fuckers too, but I think they are baited so it will atract them to it. Seen a few hanging where I live, full of yellow jackets. For the ground just get some recommended ant killer and go to town. If the spider was a brown recluse with cropped ears, then just sell your house or let it go into foreclosure.

I had more wasps/jackets last year than this year, but I've killed a few nests on my property this year

Thankfully, red wasp stings only sting me for 20-30 seconds and then go away. My wife gets swolen/inflamed around the sting and it lingers for days.

Wasp hunting/killing is one of my favorite pass-times LOL

Go to a feedstore and get some DemonWP spray. I have never had a problem with spiders, fleas, ants, or any bugs while using that. Actually it's not a spray it's a powder you mix with water to spray.

I have had a shortage of wasps around my house and a massive number of wolf spiders. Now over at my new car lot, holy shit, probably 15 nests filled with yellow jackets.

I've had some good times with that, and been stung a few, also. LOL A friend and I made a concoction of just about every chemical in his garage to kill a bunch of them next to where we were working on our cars. One spray to a wasp and it would drop to the ground dead. Unfortunately we also took out a large bush and most of the vegetation next to that garage that was attached to his parents house. Whoops!

I go after them with a racquetball racket. Nothing more satisfying than watching wasp body parts go flying everywhere after a whack with a grid of nylon strings, lol.
