I hit the 15 year mark in May, considering it's just the owner and myself, it was just another day at work. The company makes a yearly match to my simple IRA (I'm pretty pleased with that), occasionally dinner or lunch on the shop, and pays for most of my training classes & ASE tests (now recerts for my master).

At my new gig I got no swag so far. I'm waiting to get some. Then again my company has a great rep and people are knocking down the door to get in there so I'd be happy to parade around in their shit.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

We get some alright stuff to pick from with points that you win for going above and beyond. I've picked out Home Depot gift cards, some decent kitchen knives, and some FRS radios. We joke around that when you hit 30-yrs you get to pick out a company coffin.
When I was in high school working at Western Auto in Denton I got the keys to the Western Auto box at the Motorplex a couple of times. Biggest thing I ever won there was an all expenses paid trip to Indy for the inaugural Brickyard 400 race. I was fucking ballin @17 with that shit.

I've gotten all kinds of stuff with my current job. Most of it is junk but I wish I had kept it and put it on eBay. I bet the coca cola collectors would have paid some coin. I've got pins, t shirts, a monster hoodie, a jacket, and a golf shirt as little stuff. I got a NASCAR hood you see hanging in grocery stores. I have gotten a few fridges that had cosmetic damage but make great garage/patio fridges07 f250-family truckster
