Cool, thanks Wade. I figured it was something like that for the ipod.

8K before TT&L and they took the truck away. I think I would've paid them 2K to take it, lol. (they were asking 10)

I figured. Wait about two years and you'll hate the fact that you drive a four door. Ask me how I know. looks like we both got new cars yesterday. I'll post about mine later.

Upon closer inspection, it appears that my car is both "Premium" and "Sport". It's got some bitchin' 5 spoke wheels, red struts, sunroof and the fuckin' rear seats recline, lol. Never even heard of that before.

Heh, well I've got necessity on my side, so I think I'll be ok there. Can't wait to see what you got.

One thing that REALLY impresses me about the G, is the traction control system.

Throw the car around a corner that would normally get the ass end way out, and I think you'll be impressed. The system is hardly detectable, and still gets the car through at a really good clip. Many cars the system practically shuts them down and is really intrusive.

Also, throw some a 6K HID kit on there from ebay, lights look and function WAY better! $30 shipped.

Post some pics of that ride. Congrats. I have always wanted to see one of those mini tubbed with fatties on back and slammed.

How many miles are on it? I would stay on top of the oil changes, the oil filter is TINY!

It's not the size that matters......it is how you use it.

Those are non interference motors aren't they?

Good job, they have timing chains, not belts.

Not sure about the interference, but they have timing chains rather than belts.

Glad you got what you wanted! Sounds like you gave all the cars a fair shake, and the G came out on top! Sounds like a lot of car for the money, too!

Just under 100K. Slightly more than I was looking for, but considering the deal, I'm fine with it. I'll take good care of it and it should last me. How many decades have they been using that engine? Since the 70's I think. I figure they have it pretty worked out by now.

Yeah, it's definitely that. After some research, it appears that there are maybe 2 options this thing doesn't have, one of which is a wing, which I wouldn't want any way. Also has the Late03+ trunk lid on it. I like it a lot more than the early "doggie door" style lid.

                                Nice car!
the engines arent quite the same. the VQ35 doesn't share much of anything with the VG30 that has been used since 1983. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, it shares absolutely nothing.
