We have a Lab/Sheppard mix.....big black scary looking dog. He is the nicest dog any of our friends have met. He gets out occasionally and scares the kids and hoodlums of the neighborhood when he runs up to them tail wagging and ready to lick them to death....lol

Luckily we live in a rural area and well the cops get a kick out of him scaring the punk kids who are trying to act tough until a 105lb friendly dog runs up and tries to lick them

Odds are it wont make it to court. If it gets in front of a judge, and he rules in my favor, giving me back some money or not, it will open a shit storm on the city. Because that would mean that dogs have put down XX number of dogs under a law that was unconstitutional. There could be a class action lawsuit for damages on the city. It doesnt matter what any of those dogs did, because the fight is about the law not the dogs.

I will most likely get all the money back that the old laws require I spend, and get stiffed with the lawyer bill.

Best of luck in court. These animal laws they have are insane, especially having to register your dogs in the city. Just a bs way for the city to make a few more bucks. It serves no purpose!

My lawyer was one of the lawyers that wrote the laws for the state (he didnt get his way with just about everything), but he put it in layman terms for me that way.

They claim she was bitten on the butt, but a bite would have to tear through her jeans. Bunch of BS.
