Sorry to hear about all this BS you've got to deal with, that really sucks. I'm not one to believe much of what the media says, but is this true?

keep his dog in a locked enclosure or muzzled and on a "substantial chain or leash" if she is outside the cage.

Well his response pretty much sums it up though don't you think. Always two sides to a story...

Fuck that... your house your dog. I wouldnt muzzle her.

I went through a similar deal with a neighbors dog. I was fixing the fence at my moms. We were fixing the fence in the front yard. Our neighbors new and had put the blue heeler up. Well here comes son and lets the dog out and we were two fence pickets from finishing. Dog got moms calf pretty good.

Took her to get stiched up and days later arlington showed up. Said give us the dog or take it to your vet to be watched for X amount of days... Then the city tried to doing what they are to you.

We went to fight for our neighbors tho. We were a threat to getting in his back yard and he was doding his job at protecting his area.

The thing is, we never contacted the city about the bite... the DR. did.

Spelling train wreck but good on you for doing the right thing. Dogs only know what they know to simplify it. It's hard for me to be against a dog defending what it was trained to do. It is easy for me to jump all over ass clown who take it to the extreme.

                        Update: I am slowly winning.
Arlington has been attempting to throw everything at me. Thru the past few months we have been knocking all there angles. The judged ruled that we have the right to sue the city for fee's paid to them that are required by the ordinance. Now they are saying that they shouldn't have to repay the insurance I was required to get, since the money went to a third-party. I believe the lawyers fees have been ruled on, but I need to check with my lawyer. Since they have drug this out and cost me thousands of dollars.
