And I'm not knocking anyone's beliefs, either. It doesn't affect me one way or another. Just like I don't oppose gay marriage, because again, it doesn't affect me. But I will absolutely support Cathy's right to his opinion, and his freedom of speech even though I don't agree with him.

What gets me is the militants on both ends of the religion spectrum. But I'll admit, the militant atheists (racrguy for instance), irritate me far more than the Bible Thumpers. In my experience they are far more close minded, and far more hypocritical than even the most hypocritical Christians.
How the hell did I get drug into this? I'm like Jen (haven't read the whole thread) I don't agree with the guy, at all. I'm not going to help him support hate groups (as defined by the SPLC) so I won't patronize his establishments. He's more than welcome to do with his business as he pleases, and believe whatever nonsense he wants to.

Since the topic has come up, explain to me how I'm close-minded and hypocritical. The way I read it, you were/are lumping me in with those particular people.

Dude, you do go batshit arguing about atheism and against religions. Some times the people you're arguing against deserve it, other times you're looking for a fight and incessantly beating them over the head with your beliefs. I've been annoyed by your arguments on the subject on several occasions, and as everyone on here probably knows, I'm an atheist.

You remind me of myself at about age 18 when you start getting all worked up over it. Sort of like a Born Again Christian who has just discovered it and has to let everyone know your views on it constantly. I'm not trying to be a dick about it, it is just my opinion. You know we're cool. And I will say you seemed to have eased back quite a bit in the last few months.

I'm just using you as an example. But if you don't see your own intolerance, close mindedness, and hypocrisy.... Well, I can't help you. I'll liken this to everyone's favorite board punching bag. Not intending to hurl insults, it's just how you are. Like Eric is a prick, and I'm an asshole. Some things just are what they are. It annoys the shit out of me at times, but I'm not going to take my ball and go home because of it. You shouldn't either. This isn't the first time I've mentioned this to you, don't act so surprised

You wouldn't be so lucky. Your tits hang way too low, and dark nipples freak me out.

I don't find any issues with that. I just think it's important that people recognize that it is equally important that religion is separate from government as it is government is separate from religion.

                        • My family and I waited about a total of 50 minutes until we ordered. Drive through line took longer if I timed it right.

While in line, a couple came by in a car stopping to address us in the line. They wanted to know what was going on...free sandwiches or something. I explained what the CEO said, what the mayors of Chicago, Boston and other said and wanted to, that we're here for support of 1A and not government censorship/boycott/blocking of business because of opposing opinions. The look on their faces when I said the mayors were trying to block Chick-Fil-A from building was priceless. They were totally in the dark. When I was done, the wife (presumed) said 'well, I'm all in favor of y'all doing that!'.

Everybody in line was great to get along with and no troubles at all. Everyone was cutting up and having a good time. Cars drove by on the frontage road honking their horns. It was great!

I drove by the one on 121 and Glade a few minutes ago. It's a damn zoo there right now!

I can't stand CFA, let alone waiting an hour for it, so I ate at Churches chicken instead.

You waited 50 minutes for some fast food chicken? You have considerably more free time than I do.

                                Principal, not the food.
