I don't want to get into an argument for either side of this comparison, as I do have my own opinions, but this is the path this movement is taking.
The ChikFila guy screwed up big time, IMO. He could've just as easily avoided the question. "We serve food, why do we give shit about what goes on in your bedroom?" would've been a great answer.

With that said, I love ChikFila, my family loves ChikFila, and I will continue to eat there until he comes out and says he hates Blacks & Mexicans.
The only people making the parallel about gay rights and civil rights are the homos and their sympathizers. Gay sex is behavior (so is straight sex) and the only behavior that is a protected right is the act of voting.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Its not illegal to support traditional ideas, is is illegal to be having sex with minors.
It is legal for someone to express their support for the practice. You can change NAMBLA to "Hamas," or "The Church of Scientology," or "The Church of Satan," in my original post and get the same sentiment.

They are a Christian owned company and homosexuality is completely uncompilable with true christian beliefs.
        Tell that to the Episcopalians.

Not hard to see your take. I guess the Homos and Sympathizers are quickly growing in mass quantity?

People are lashing out at them in a hateful way due to their view of not supporting. It's irony that people are attcking with hate, when they weren't subject to it first and are claiming Chick Fil-A as gay/lesbian/tranny/fagdyke haters.

They can't comprehend the different of not supporting, and hating.

What's the Focus on the Family scandal that i missed?
They have a bad habit of misrepresenting scientific research for their religious agenda. They've taken several studies that have shown that children "flourish better in a two parent home vs. a single parent home," and have changed to "Gay and Lesbian couples don't make good parents."

Just because some people are too weak to stand up for their beliefs and start to change their beliefs rather then being ridiculed doesn't make changing their beliefs the correct thing to do.

Damn it, my wife talked me into going to a hole in the wall Mexican food place. It smells like a sewer.

You're not going to upset me by eating chick-fil-a. I don't feel the need to impose my beliefs on you, nor do I need you to believe the same as I to hold a conversation with you.

I am agnostic, pro-choice, I support gay marriage, I oppose gun control, oppose the health care mandate, and absolutely oppose giving my money to worthless fucks that won't get a job and won't quit squirting kids out.

That being said, I was married (10 years) to an extremely conservative Baptist that was a staunch republican, opposes gay rights, is pro-life, and went to church or was involved in church activities on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays....and was a Southern Californian. He and I are still close friends and co-parent our children rather successfully. I have a VERY high degree of tolerance for differing opinions.

Do you know anything about the history of Christianity?

With such strict morals yourself, you must hunt your own meats and grow your own vegetables.
                          Kudos to you!

Yes; that is why I am an agnostic/atheist. I also have seen atrocities committed in gods name and want nothing to do with organized religions.

What pisses me off, is the one day a week I am off, I can't even get a freaking delicious chicken sandwich.

You're trying to be sarcastic, but until we moved into the city a couple of years ago, all of our meat, poultry and eggs, dairy, and vegetables were homegrown.
