At work and get a call from wife saying there is a truck parked in driveway by shop. No one is around or nothing. Call police they send car to check it out. Comes back to a local guy and looks as he dropped it off for brake work but at wrong house. Truck has brake parts on front seat and keys in the truck still. Googled for a phone # with no luck so thought I.would try here. Info on the guy is

They said we could have it towed at the owners expense but as far as I know didn't make any contact with owner. Chose not to have it towed as I am sure he just dropped it off ay the wrong house.

Hmm. They would have advised if they made contact. A lot of times older vehicles aren't registered correctly so owner info is not easy to find.

It is a newer Dodge ad they pulled up all info. Nothing came up on the guy as far as warrants or priors so all is clear. Figure if I could find his # I would give him.a call as he is un aware his truck it at the wrong house.

If you are driving a vehicle that was dropped off on your property without your permission and you were driving it back to the owner, explain how you would be depriving the owner of said property if you were on your way to take it back to him?
